As Executive Director of Corporate Solutions, Pete Peterson brings more than two decades of experience guiding investment committees in building best-in-class retirement plan menus that promote clarity, fiduciary alignment, and adaptability. Since co-founding Balefire in 2010, he has expanded his expertise to include institutional asset management, non-profit consulting, and the design of non-qualified deferred compensation plans—always with a focus on strategic, personalized solutions that drive meaningful outcomes. Pete works closely with the Corporate Solutions team to ensure organizations and their people are equipped for long-term success.
Originally from rural Northeast South Dakota, Pete now lives in Dallas, Texas. A proud father and active mentor, he dedicates much of his free time to supporting his family, serving the community, and coaching young athletes. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he has competed in soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, and even international-level darts.
